We occasionally accept guest posts for publication.
Providing guest posting opportunities is a great way to expose readers to new viewpoints and can also help writers reach a new audience for their blogs or businesses. That said, due to the volume of submissions and queries we receive on a daily basis, we will only consider queries that meet the following guidelines.
Send a Query, Not Your Post
To be considered, please send us a query, not a full post. We simply don’t have time to read every post that comes in. Your query, while brief as possible, should include:
- Who you are
- Why you want to publish on Money Under 30
- The site you want to link to in your guest post
- Between 1-3 topic ideas
- Links to any other blogs where you have published
If we accept one of your ideas, we will ask you to submit a post.
Post Guidelines
To be accepted and published, you must then follow these guidelines:
1. Your post must be original and exclusive. You must certify that YOU created (and own the copyright) to any work you submit. Additionally, you must guarantee that the work has never been published before and that you will not attempt to publish the work anywhere else, including on your own site.
2. Your post must be relevant to personal finance and twentysomethings. The topic of your guest article must be of interest to Money Under 30 readers. Ideally, guest posts will focus on personal finances as they relate to consumers in their twenties.
3. Your post must be of exceptionally high quality. We will only accept guest posts that are of substantial quality. Posts should be original, highly-valuable, and well-written. Posts should have arresting headlines, intriguing leads, and incredibly useful substance. Posts should link to other useful and relevant pages (not just your own site). Needless to say, posts should be relatively free of grammatical and spelling errors. (We all make typos, but please do your best.)
A Few More Points
Compensation. Guest writers agree to provide written content to Money Under 30 for attribution only.
Attribution. All guest posts will be attributed to the author. Guest authors should submit a brief (two or three sentence) biography that includes a link to your Website (if applicable). The attribution link must be to your Website homepage (not an internal page) and must use your name or the Website’s name as the anchor text (not a keyword).
Editing and Publication. Money Under 30 reserves the right to edit guest articles for length, style, and clarity. Money Under 30 also reserves the right not to publish submitted guest articles for any reason.
