I was inspired by Clever Dude’s March traffic figures (congrats!) post this morning to share my good news, too. March 2008 was a record for Money Under 30 in terms of visitors and pageviews, and I set a record in my online earnings too! Here’s the skinny. Continued

I would like to thank Casey Thomas for designing Money Under 30’s new logo.

Though I have taken this blog through several design iterations, I always just typed out Money Under 30 in the header. I always wanted a logo, but never could come up with anything myself that looked professional enough.

Recently I saw an ad Casey put up on Craigslist for design work and we worked out a deal.

He was great to work with — fast, professional, and responsive to feedback. Casey is a design student at Roger Williams University in Rhode Island, but I’d say he’s off to a great start. You can check out some of Casey’s work at his website: Thomas Creative Design.

Starting today, a full content RSS feed for Money Under 30 is available! I know partial content feeds are pretty much useless these days…the point of using a reader in the first place is to avoid traveling all over the web everyday to get your favorite reads.

I owe thanks to Clever Dude for pointing this out to me…last November, alas.

I would’ve done this long ago but one of the drawbacks to using the Wordpress “more” feature to provide excerpts of my articles on my homepage is that it cuts off the feed. For anybody else with the same problem, you’ll need the full feed plugin and you will need to draw your feed from /rss2 rather than /feed or /rss.

So once again, my full feed is available! Please grab it here.

Today (Feb. 4, 2008), MoneyUnder30 will be undergoing a long-overdue backup and update to the version of Wordpress used to power the site. If the site looks really funky, this is why. I apologize for any inconvenience. Thank you. David.
