I agree that FNBO's success will be good for online savers at all banks because it will keep raising the bar for rates and service. Mia, I'm not familiar with GCF, but that rate you're referring looks like it is a promo for 90 days, then requires a $200,000k minimum balance to maintain. Their current regular rate for balances under $25k is 2.45%. I’m still quite happy with ING, too; although since about a year ago their rate has trailed a lot of other online high yield banks.
