My 500th Post (And…Win $100 on Twitter)

Today marks an exciting milestone for me and Money Under 30: This is my 500th blog post! To celebrate, I’m going to give one lucky reader $100. To learn how to win, just keep reading.

I started blogging consistently in September of 2006, so I’m also approaching my third blogging anniversary. Somehow, however, 500 posts seems more impressive than three years. Five hundred posts is lot of words. I estimate 150,000 or more assuming an average of 300 words per article. That’s easily a book, if not two.

So, I just want to say thank you to everybody that continues to make my blogging possible: Everybody who reads, comments, subscribes, and contributes. Thank you!!!

To put my money where my mouth is, I’m going to really say thank you to one lucky reader with a $100 cash prize. To win, all you have to do is tweet your favorite Money Under 30 post of all time and include @dweliver (so I know you’ve entered). The contest will be open until midnight Eastern Time on Friday, August 14 and I will announce the winner in a comment on this post and on Twitter…so be sure you’re following me to find out who wins!

Good luck! In the meantime, I look forward to plugging on and writing another 500 posts and another and another.
