For a variety of reasons, I was forced to be very fiscally responsible when I was still in college, and as a result (thankfully) never had to "learn from mistakes." That kind of discipline allowed me to buy a home when I was still just 22... and living in the Boston area, which is no easy feat. I've also been equally fascinated with how to best plan for the future and protect myself, because I know what the lean times feel like and I don't particularly want to feel that way again. Congratulations on a year of blogging, Dave, and I'm looking forward to reading more!
