She is paying less for her 4 bedroom home in the mountains than I am for a 2 bedroom rental....a lot less! Unfortunately for me, my other half was injured in the fall and was out of work for over 6 months. There went our house-buying plan. It is a catch-22. We can't afford to rent, but by renting we can't save enough to buy. Stuck in a hamster wheel....I would definitely say if you can buy, now is the time!
