TurboTax: File Online for Free
Taxes stressing you out? My advice is to stop procrastinating and at least start getting your tax documentation together as soon as possible. And, enlist the help of online tax prep or tax software to help.

Prepping your federal taxes is totally free with this edition of TurboTax. You can, of course, purchase TurboTax’s additional programs to help with complex returns or state returns, but preparing you federal income tax return online is 100% free with this product.
What Does TurboTax Free Edition Include?
TurboTax Federal Free Edition includes everything you need to prepare and file your federal tax return for free. TurboTax will walk you through all the questions on the 1040EZ, 1040, or 1040A that you need to answer to get the biggest refund you qualify for. Federal filing is free; if you want to file your state return it will cost $25.95. Or, depending on your state, you may be able to easily transfer the information from your federal return to a paper state return and avoid incurring the state filing fee.

If you have more complicated taxes, TurboTax also has great products to help you. Their deluxe version is perfect for anybody that owns a home or has medical expenses, and premier takes care of filers who have extensive investments or rental property.
